StockGro’s parent company, AssetGro Fintech Ltd, reported a sharp improvement in its financial performance in FY26, with net profit rising more than threefold year-on-year to ₹113 crore. The company also nearly doubled its operating revenue during the year, strengthening its financial position as it prepares for a potential public listing.
According to the company’s consolidated financial statements, net profit increased 226.6% to ₹113 crore in FY26 from ₹34.6 crore in FY25. The company’s profit before tax (PBT) stood at ₹99 crore, compared with ₹35.9 crore in the previous financial year.
The higher reported profit was partly supported by a tax credit of ₹14 crore. This included a deferred tax credit of ₹15.9 crore, offset by a current tax expense of ₹1.9 crore.
AssetGro Fintech’s operating revenue climbed to ₹226.1 crore in FY26, nearly twice the ₹113.3 crore recorded in FY25.
Subscription fees accounted for almost all of the company’s operating revenue, contributing 99.9% of the total. The remaining revenue came from service fees.
Including other income of ₹4.8 crore, the company’s total income reached ₹230.9 crore during FY26, up from ₹125.5 crore a year earlier.
The company also recorded strong growth in operating earnings. Its EBITDA increased by approximately 99.3% to ₹118.7 crore in FY26, compared with ₹59.5 crore in FY25.
The growth comes as India’s retail investment market continues to expand. According to the company, the number of unique investors registered with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) reached 13.66 crore as of September. This expanding investor base offers StockGro an opportunity to attract more users and encourage existing users to adopt paid subscriptions.
Founded in 2020, StockGro operates a platform designed to help users research financial markets, learn about investing and explore stocks and alternative assets.
The platform combines investment research tools with social features, allowing users to follow other investors, track stocks, review portfolios and interact with market experts.
It also provides research and trading ideas from Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)-registered analysts, alongside tools for more detailed market analysis. Its AI-powered research assistant, Stoxo, helps users explore stocks, markets, mutual funds and other investment themes.
Subscription fees remain the company’s primary revenue source, making the conversion of free users into paying subscribers an important part of its growth strategy.
AssetGro Fintech has taken steps towards going public, confidentially pre-filing its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI in September 2026.
The company is reportedly looking to raise between ₹2,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore through the proposed IPO. The issue could include a fresh share sale of around ₹800 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders.
In October, StockGro also raised ₹110 crore, or approximately $10.4 million, as part of its ongoing Series B funding round. Existing investor BITKRAFT Ventures participated alongside Aditum Venture Capital Fund, India SME Growth Fund and actor Suniel Shetty.
The fundraising comes as the company builds momentum ahead of its planned listing.
Despite the improvement in revenue and profitability, AssetGro Fintech’s expenses increased during FY26. Total expenses rose 47.3% to ₹132 crore from ₹89.6 crore in FY25.
Employee benefit expenses were the largest cost component, accounting for roughly half of total expenditure. These costs climbed 96.3% to ₹65.8 crore from ₹33.5 crore in the previous financial year.
Technology-related expenses also increased, rising 34.6% to ₹17.9 crore from ₹13.3 crore. Meanwhile, media and advertising expenditure grew 61.1% to ₹23.2 crore, compared with ₹14.4 crore in FY25.
The increase in employee, technology and marketing spending reflects the costs associated with running and expanding the business. As StockGro moves closer to a potential IPO, its ability to sustain revenue growth while managing expenses will remain an important factor in its financial performance.
With operating revenue doubling and net profit more than tripling in FY26, StockGro enters its next phase from a stronger financial position. Its continued growth will depend on attracting new investors to its platform, increasing paid subscriptions and maintaining profitability as it prepares for the public markets.
