The pitch

Kota Doria sarees are woven by hand in villages around Kota, but weavers get very little of what buyers in big cities pay. My mother's family has been in this craft for three generations. In 2023 my co-founder and I started selling directly online through Instagram and WhatsApp. It is just the two of us, and so far 102+ customers, most of them in Maharashtra, have bought from us. We are raising _20 lakh to build a proper website, shoot better catalogues and keep stock with 15 weaver families.
