Walmart-backed e-commerce titan Flipkart Group has reported a robust financial performance for the fiscal year 2026 (FY26), driven by solid top-line expansion and improved operational efficiencies. According to consolidated financial statements filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), the group's revenue from operations climbed 18.2% year-on-year to reach ₹1,45,880 crore (nearly ₹1.5 lakh crore), up from ₹1,23,432 crore in the previous fiscal period. Concurrently, the group managed to narrow its bottom-line losses. Net losses for FY26 contracted by 2.1% to ₹8,468 crore, compared to ₹8,646 crore in FY25. This performance highlights an incremental improvement of roughly ₹178 crore, supported by stronger unit economics, optimized overhead management, and wider gross margins. ### Key Financial Highlights: * **Revenue Growth:** Operating revenue touched ₹1.46 lakh crore, reflecting steady consumer demand across its marketplace and associated segments. * **Loss Reduction:** Consolidated net losses improved to ₹8,468 crore, aided by better cost efficiency. * **Operating Performance:** Adjusted operating losses contracted significantly by approximately ₹1,600 crore, while adjusted EBITDA improved by around ₹1,500 crore. * **Advertising Drive:** Flipkart Ads stood out as a strong growth driver, surging 31% year-on-year and comfortably outpacing the group's overall revenue growth rate. ### Structural Milestones and Portfolio The FY26 filings mark a notable milestone for the retail heavyweight, representing the first time the Flipkart Group has published its consolidated financial performance under Flipkart Internet Private Limited following its strategic redomiciliation back to India. The reported consolidated figures capture the overarching ecosystem of the group, which spans its core e-commerce marketplace, fashion e-tailer Myntra, travel platform Cleartrip, alongside shared logistics, technology infrastructure, loyalty programs, and specialized platform services. Despite higher finance costs, unique one-off exceptional items, and shifts in deferred tax asset structures, the latest disclosures signal that Flipkart is gradually scaling up its monetization channels and fine-tuning its cost-to-revenue efficiency as it reinforces its market presence in India's competitive digital economy.
