The pitch

Gig workers and small shopkeepers rarely buy health or accident insurance because nobody explains it to them in plain words. We are building an insurance distribution platform, working with an IRDAI-registered broker, that offers low-premium covers through an app and a WhatsApp helpline. We started in Jodhpur in 2023. Our first partnership was with a gig worker association in Tamil Nadu, so most of our 110+ policyholders are there for now. Revenue is still very small. Team of 11, including advisors on commission. Raising _45 lakh to build claims support into the app and launch in Rajasthan.
