Protectt.ai has officially secured a majority stake in AIShield, an advanced AI security platform originally incubated within Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW). The strategic investment—comprising both a primary share issuance and a secondary purchase from existing investors—aims to supercharge product development, accelerate research and development, and fuel international expansion.

 

Following the transaction, AIShield will operate as an independent entity under the Protectt.ai umbrella, named AI Shield Private Limited. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

### Uniting Mobile and AI Defense

This strategic alignment merges Protectt.ai’s robust mobile application security framework with AIShield’s specialized AI safety platform. AIShield brings a formidable suite of capabilities to the table, including AI security assessments, red teaming, runtime protection, and safety guardrails designed to combat complex threats like prompt injection and model vulnerabilities. With over 40 patent filings and 11 granted patent families, AIShield has already established a strong foothold serving clients across Europe and the Middle East.

 

Meanwhile, Protectt.ai contributes its extensive market presence, deep expertise in regulated sectors such as banking and finance (BFSI), and comprehensive suite of digital payment security controls.
